Message First off, I have absolutely nothing to do with the manifolds. I saw the posts about them when they were first made. I saw the post about the car running. I've talked with some of the people that work on that car. So I do have more of a background knowledge on these manifolds then you do, but beyond that, I have nothing to do with the manifolds.

I have seen pretty welds fail because there wasn't enough penetration, and I have seen ugly welds hold up just fine because there was good penetration. The look of the weld has nothing to do with the strength.

I insist on targeting your posts because when you are wrong people should know what you are saying is wrong. This is a forum to further people knowledge of a car, not a place where you can sit around trying to make yourself look smart in the eyes of others. Don't get me wrong, I give you credit when it is due to you. You are an asset to the forum because you try new things. But at times you are wrong, and making it sound technical may for some people but it doesn't change the fact that it is wrong.

Now I will go find that you said you replied to, and I will reply back to you. Was it in General or Technical?

Later,

So, which Formula 1 Car are you most like?
